And now, for something other than memes!

Fan art I made in commemoration of the game's 5th birthday. Also posted on Twitter and the devs shared it! I'm so happy :D

I love how you singlehandedly carry this sub, i really enjoy your posts! ^ are u interested in game recomendations that go into a simmilar vein? (maybe list some of your favorite games as reference points)

Aw, thanks! I kinda feel like I owe this sub something after failing to finish the DLC memes some years ago, plus the game is that good, it deserves the posts.

That'd be nice, alright... I loved Paper Mario and FTL: Faster Than Light (truly consider those to be some of the best games ever made), Dead by Daylight is nice, Darkest Dungeon is good and Death Road to Canada is a favorite.

(I read your comment wrong the first time and spent some time making a small list of games I found related to TFS that I liked, thinking that you wanted to know which games are similar enough to it so yeah, sorry for the wait lol.)

ok I got some recs listed from most to least recommended: Starbound Kentucky Route Zero (the Trailers doesnt say much but this Game is one of the best pieces of literature i have ever read) FAR: Lone Sails Mother 3 Gods will be watching

Should I look into death road to Canada? does it offer lots of narrative or is it more gameplay focused?

I've heard of all of these, so that's nice! I've played a bit of Rebound and Mother 3, heard a lot about Kentucky Route Zeroand don't know much about Gods will be watching. Will keep those in mind, thank you!

Death Road is focused a LOT on gameplay. A roguelike where you and some other dinguses (game likes to call you that), try escaping to Canada on a road trip across the country, stopping to sleep, loot and explore in some events every once in a while.. It's also quite silly and sometimes just plain absurd. If you want a "soft" experience (that can get quite hard as time goes by) with zombies and, silliness and looting then I think you'll like it.

that sounds fun! ill look into it. The final station originally got recommended to me on the Far lone sails subreddit so it went full circle now lol
