Looking for a compatible screen
I’d like to try using all the original equipment for mine, however I’m not sure what monitor /tv I should be looking for

It's RF. Any TV that can accept analog TV signals will work. You'll need a 300 ohm to 75 ohm matching transformer to convert it to a traditional coaxial cable unless you have an old TV from the 80s or earlier that uses that sort of antenna connection.
Edit: you can also get a composite video cable and a composite video to HDMI converter to use it on a modern TV. Might be easier.

Many modern TVs will accept analog signal through RF, which I found surprising. My wife and I recently bought a new 60” Toshiba and I was surprised to find a menu setting to allow it to search for analog broadcast frequencies and CATV signals from the RF input. You can feed it a signal from a VCR and the signal is noisy but useable, but the better takeaway is that a 6’ coax cable makes a better digital antenna than a store bought indoor antenna.

This is what I did. I bought an av cable and used my av to hdmi adapter that I already had

Your best bet is to get a 300 ohm to 75 ohm adapter (https://a.co/d/0Dl98pM) which gets you to a coax connection. Then you’ll need a TV with a coax input that does analog NTSC tuning. So CRT or older LCD.

So the machine is outputting regular composite video, and that box is actually an external RF modulator for connecting to a TV via the tuner. There's no need to rely on it.
If you do want to use it, just get a standard 300 ohm to 75 ohm adapter and plug it into a TV. Bear in mind that you'll be getting significantly worse video quality that way.
But a much better solution is to just buy a composite cable or make your own.

With the appropriate cable you can connect your computer to any standard A/V input (composite video, rca jacks usually).
That box in your hand is actually an external RF modulator that allows you to connect the TI 99/4a to a TV that only accepts RF input.
If you really want the less than stellar experience, you should get an adapter fron those spade/fork connectors to an F connector (typical connector on coaxial cable) that will fit any standard antenna or cable tv input.
Or you can use one of the DIN to A/V cables and use any standard RF modulator for television.

You can look online and pick up a 5pin din to rca inputs. It will allow you to plug it into any tv/monitor with rca inputs. I used that with mine.
