Tia Mia
My apologies for the lack of any Tiki gear. I’ve only just started getting into Tiki drinks, so much so I made my first orgeat and celebrated with a Tia Mia, since agave spirits are my most reached for beverage.
I did: • 1oz Appleton • 1oz mezcal • 0.75oz lime • 0.75oz orgeat • 0.25oz Cointreau
I’ve been looking recently at vintage stores nearby for Tiki drinkware, but haven’t found anything good just yet.

Sound Help
Working on my first home tiki bar- what’s the best way to have multiple speakers that I can play different sounds from? I got Philips hue for lighting but I’d like to be able to play different sound effects on different speakers as well. Is Sonos the only option or is there a more economical route?

Designed some vinyl jade tiles to add to our bathroom cabinets (the right door will be put back on eventually lol)
We wanted a tiki themed bathroom but our options are limited since we're renting. I have a new Cricut I needed to break in so here we are!

Recommendations for a rug
So I’m looking for a good quality rug to go in my home tiki bar and I runner to go in the hall. Everything I find seems to be screen printed and cheap quality. Does anyone have any recommendations?

3d printing jade tiles
This is the first run at it …. Good enough once tied into a breezeway? This is one half cut down the middle. Wondering … do I even the other side if it’s going against a wall? Not sure about the color it’s a bit too Cola glass color and not jade color enough but I was happy with the result.
Thoughts?

Why Do Tiki Drinks Put Me Out
Made a Mai Tai by the Smugglers Cove recipe the other night and it got me drunk quick. I can usually drink 4-5 beers before getting to that point. What is it about Tiki drinks that is so hard hitting?

Atlanta tiki bars
I'm headed to Atlanta in a couple months and I want to check out the tiki scene while I'm there. I'm aware of Trader Vic's, SOS, and Maya Speak-Tiki. Am I missing any good ones?

Tiki in Dallas?
Hi all, new here and we love experiencing Tiki's everywhere (5 countries so far.) About to go to Dallas, and sad to hear that Swizzle is no longer a physical location and only does pop-ups now. Please any other authentic, cool Tiki bars in Dallas? Thanks!

Well-Rounded Tiki Menu
I’m interested in your thoughts on a tiki menu that hits multiple dining experiences - things like spirit forward, juicy, complex, simple, sparkling, frozen, served neat, sweet, sour, bitter, etc. Most classic tiki drinks, being essentially a maximalist riff on a rum punch, tend to settle in the sour, juicy, complex part of the spectrum. How would you balance an overall tiki menu?
Tiki-Adjacent: Raised by Wolves in San Diego CA
A really beautiful speakeasy with a strong tiki menu and a pretty solid rum list.

Y'all are gonna love it. The crew did an incredible job with the new space.
Which mixer to get for tiki
Looking for a drink mixer for my home bar because I can't get a quite right texture with my blender. Hamiltons are rare and expensive, any other maker I should look for?
