In an email, Tom Bihn said that during a recent photoshoot, they spotted this little critter friend. A slug cameo wasn’t on the shot list, but it felt perfectly in tune with the season: slow, curious, and enjoying the moment.

Discovered Tom Bihn through r/BuyItForLife a little over a year back. Spent the whole year looking for something similar available locally (India), but couldn’t find anything that matched up.

Finally pulled the trigger last Friday. I initially ordered the Synik 30 by mistake and realized within a couple of hours that I actually wanted the 26. That gave me the chance to interact with the famed customer service.

Sent an email first and waited about 30 minutes, but noticed my order status had already updated to Ready for Shipping. Decided to call in. The rep was super friendly, quick, and courteous. He cancelled the Synik 30 order on the spot and sent me a new payment link for the 26. Because of this swap, the order shipped on Monday instead of Friday, but it still got delivered by Friday afternoon.

Only downside was the ~27% customs duty and taxes, but honestly, worth it.

Don't see many threads on this and hopefully not a taboo subject ( lol ) but does anyone use 3rd party pouches with the d rings?

Especially because most at TB are "mystery" other than a couple options.

I've seen a few 3rd party ( see example ) I like but would have to leverage a mini carabiner or something to make it work.

I'm looking for a new EDC work bag and I'm liking (not loving) my new to me Co-pilot.

This is for train commutes with 30 minutes of walking. Don't care about planes or traveling with other luggage.

Typical load would be a small lunch, 14 inch ThinkPad, ouch pouch and maybe packable jacket.

Is the Pilot the same depth (smallest dimension) as the Co-pilot?

Timestamps first. Looking to sell this gorgeous Tom Bihn Luminary 15 I purchased directly from Tom Bihn in 2021, in Deep Blue 525 Ballistic/Cloud 210 Ballistic. Minor scuffs in front due to use, but still excellent condition otherwise. Bag was used for work only for a few months, but I ended up needing something larger than 15L, so it hasn’t been used since and has mostly been sitting in my closet. Hoping to find it a home that will actually use it more.

It comes with a safety whistle installed on the sternum strap, but I can swap to a regular black buckle if desired. Will also include extra zipper pulls.
