Is there a "standard" cable that one may use instead of a hdd caddy cable? for cf-19?

So I was looking over some connections for the cf-19 caddy cable...is there a way to connect a sata3 ssd to the computer that are available as a standard connector? I saw that kind of a connector as the caddy connector somewhere before....but cant place it where...does anyone know what is it called? that sata to whatever connector it may be?

Thank you

My 19 has a sata ssd. Just open the caddy and replace it. Not sure about sata 3 though

thanks for the photo...so looks like it is not directly connecting to sata, as the motherboard connector is not like a standard sata connector....that is what I was trying to figure out, if there is a name for that connector....as the caddy is not needed at all...., the othr connectors are just for the heater, which is not needed either, unless you go to the arctic or such while using a ssd....

Yes but I believe they can only accept upto a certain capacity. But the caddy needs to be there to connect to the toughbook as its a proprietary connection

the caddy is not needed at all..its the cable that matters, and I am trying to figure out what kind of sata to whatever its called cable it might be....it would be silly of them to create their own sata cable....well unless they push for forced obsolesence, and want to milk people for money for selling caddies ...which might be the case

Usually capacity limmits are bs...that is not true...it might dependd also on the type of formatting...gpt vs mbr (which maxes at 2tb)...so the caddy is meaningless
