TechSupport Cf-33 failing to recognise external nvme enclosure

Hey everyone i have a cf-33 mk1 running win11 trying to connect a external nvme drive as external storage. I used another computer to format it and it shows up instantly on that one.

I enabled quick charging in the bios on toughbook it worked for a second and then after a restart. Nothing again

Please help

What mark CF-33 do you have? I believe the Cf-33 doesn't nativity support NVME anything.. I believe it's just NGFF. But somebody correct me if im wrong.

Correct it does only support NGFF on the mobo. I'm talking about an external nvme enclosure over usb

I wiped the computer and plugged it in it is currently recognised bit it took like 10m to show up. It shouldn't take that long in my opinion

Hmm.. I don't know if the usb supports NVME if the motherboard doesn't.. I've had good luck with ngff usb enclosures. Is it a driver issue? You mentioned it popped up for a sec, could the driver have updated?
