Cannot get the tablet/screen to release on CF-33

Is there a manual way to get it apart? The little sliding tab is sliding but the "window" that shows its locked is not budging. I just about beat it death trying to get is separated and no luck.

Try to press the Tablet more into the Dock and then try to unlock the Tablet from the base

It's not very common but there is a "locking screw" that can be installed through the keyboard into the tablet. This is intended to do exactly what you're saying, keep the tablet attached to the keyboard!

If you look around where the hinge overlaps to the CF-33 you may see a screw that can be removed. I'll see if I can get any pictures or literature that identifies that step.

Dude! I could hug you! I was like "What the hell is this person talking about? A screw? Nope" But the wife and I just started trying to beat the piss out of it and I was wait, there is a hole in the bottom of the other CF33 I have but there is no screw. Well, you were RIGHT. This one had a tiny screw, screwed into that hole. As soon as I backed it out halfway, bam, the tablet came off.
