TechSupport Just purchased reconditioned CF-33 and Wi-Fi isn’t there.

I purchased a reconditioned CF-33 mk1 off Amazon earlier this week and when it came, the Wi-Fi wasn’t there. I have tried almost every solution I could find online but nothing has worked. I’m willing to try anything. The amazon listing said it had Wi-Fi. I was so excited to get the laptop and use it but this has been really frustrating. I really don’t want to have to return it.

I thought those had a physical switch on the side to enable/disable wifi

Some are on the left side, up in the CDROM port - flip the lid down to access tray to get to that switch. Other models had a switch up front by the handle.

I have searched all over for a switch once I learned about them and I haven't found one.

omg thank you. I had to look up what BIOS was... its been many years since I had a windows computer and have forgotten almost everything. Wireless wasn't enabled so I enabled it and restarted and it worked. I almost cried. Thank you so much.

Word of advice... stay with the Panasonic Toughbook drivers for the hardware. Toughbooks are known to be very particular.
