Discussion (Serious) Something has happened on Tumblr but I do not see anyone talking about it...

A popular blog run by someone who is transfem got reported by a transphobic asshole.

Afterwards, said asshole decided to move his campaign onto another target and decided to target a blog run by someone who is transmasc.

The blogs were, respectively, isuggestforcefem and isuggestforcemasc. Now, isfm said once in a comment to his own post that he personally did not like isff much because she had called force masc "not as trasgressive as force fem" when it came to kink, and because she had also said some degrading stuff about transmasc; he was still upset she had been banned after getting reported by the transphobic asshole and others like him.

Needless to say, who was accused of targeting isff? One would hope it was only opinionvortex, the original culprit, and the transphobes that followed him... As well as Tumblr's staff, which had heeded the transphobic campaign and momentarily shut down isff's blog.

Nope.

Many people, including transfems, but not limited to them, sent death threats and aggressive asks to isfm and forced him to private his blog in order not to face further harassment. He was genuinely feeling horrible about all of it.

Many people using exclusionist language kept suggesting to harass transmascs. Believing them to have been the main perpetrators in this instance of transmysogyny.

Now. This resolved itself quickly when it came to isff. Her blog was reinstated. As soon as it was, she spoke on how it was transmasc people's fault, and a lot of people agreed with her. It was later that isfm unprivated his blog. He said he was feeling a bit better now that he had seen people support him as well... Because there was some infighting in the Tumblr queer community while he was gone. People saying he fled the scene, some calling for transmasc to be harassed and mass reported... Some however recognized he had been falsely accused. Nevertheless, the situation on Tumblr feels like a war. Like there is a scar deep as a trench that cannot heal.

I feel unsafe. I kind of hate it there. There are many queer creators on there that support exclusionist language that promotes binaries, including the kind that was banned in the subreddit because it was deemed to be too divisive and hurtful. I also have issues with some other popular creators, but perhaps I should try and talk about it in another instance.

Anyway, what do we think? Is there anyone else here from Tumblr that has seen this happen and feels distraught and scared? How long until people stop using terminology that excludes so many of our queer siblings? How long until people stop blaming other queer people for issues that are imposed on them by TERFs in the first place?

What is going on????

Advice/Question Voice training? (DIY)

Has anyone had success with voice training at home? Everyone talks about voice training, but I dont understand if that means personalized paid coaching or just being really consistent with YouTube videos or something. For those who are feeling good about their voice training, how did you do it? Are there any specific online creators that I should know about?
