We share the same name (freddie) and he’s a british diva idiot who loves Greggs and shit lol. Sorry if the top surgery scars are badly drawn I’m gonna work on that, I don’t draw them that often because I’m bad at drawing scarring.

I’m giving him the trans men traits some of us struggle with and I might do a comic of my guys transition so that’ll be SUPER dope (his pre-transition form is NOT it 😭).

hey! ftm ally here. ive been going crazy making pinterest collages and heres one for you guys!! its not much but i figured id share 😊 our community needs as much positivity as it can get nowadays!
(wasnt sure what flair to add, so i listed it under "art"... hope thats all right!)

if you can actually believe it, this is fan art for the fire emblem games (notably three houses) but these two are so modernized that i felt it could also be appropriate to share them here. the characters are actually linhardt and hubert, but for my comic/au sake, ive been calling them linda and bert for short :-]

linda is a trans woman who sort of also teeters on the genderfluid and non binary spectrum. although in the sake of these cartoons, she also identities as butch as a sort of expression of my own gender identity (as im also butch! but not transfemme, im actually masc but i love how lin can be an example that both AMAB and AFABs can identify with the butch gender expression!) she's a blunt and cranky biology teacher who wants to be a mom, and shows a more black and white transition of going "all the way" (trying to pass as cis/getting pregnant/post op everything)

bert is a trans man in this comic who's pre everything but the HRT, with the nuances that come along side that. so his transition is less black and white and a lot more fluid (not to concerned with passing/not doing many procedures) he's also been a great nod for me to allow myself to include my knowledge of queer history, as a lot of his fashion sense comes from the 1970-80s queer culture of the time with a new modernized spin on. so these two may as well be OCs at this point haha! bert is also a fashion designer and an eccentric interviewer looking for the perfect models for his art.

these cartoons are all primarily freehanded ink drawings, meaning i go in with an ink pen or a brush without an initial sketch or guidelines and just follow what feels right to me. so you may notice some tradiomal art mistakes, or linework that ive had a lot of folk say is very unique and reminiscent comics from the 80s and backwards.

i hope you guys don't mind me sharing these, as these little fellas are both a representation of myself, and a statement peice that anyone can be butch no matter your AGAB as well as expecting masculine trans joy both in ways of transmascs gaining pride (me, my partner, my friends) and transfemmes reclaiming their own mascness (many of my close friends)

I made this character a few months ago that I based off what I wanted to look like when I’m able to get HRT (kinda went a bit too anime with the hair but I think she looks good) I’m not a very good artist, i’m mainly a writer I hope I did well though. (I really just wanted to show off my art because this is one of the few that I’m actually proud of making)

A door opened in front of me today
And the person opening it could have been myself
Looking at me with wide eyes behind thick lenses
A view of myself through a fun house mirror
They hadn't been through what I have been
(They were practically just a baby!)
They were coming out of a room marked wrong
They looked at me, and hated the feeling of being perceived,
Hated me for being there to notice them
I have been there before, on the other side of the door,
Hating the person I opened the door to see
I wish I could have put my hands on their shoulders and said,
"You're not special in the way you think you are,
And that's not a bad thing at all!
There are people like you,
Who will love and accept you,
Who will laugh or groan at your jokes,
And will really see you,
and you'll want them to see you,
and you'll see them.
