GP Medical Pro-forma prices
Applying for my first SGL to North Yorkshire police. The doctors just told me it would be 135 pounds for the form to be completed. blimey. I think of all the posts I've read on here that's the most expensive I've seen!

Shootcert charged me around £90 and got the medical proforma in 1 week. Highly recommend them.

Mine charged £60, a mate of mine had has for £10 and another was free.
All up to the actual doctor and the surgery. Use a service like med or shootcert instead for that price.

IIRC someone was charged £150, but yours is well up there. Tell your GP where to go, and use Shootcert.
I used my GP (£50) and they were a nightmare. They are supposed to list only relevant info. Mine listed every medical condition I've ever had from birth, which delayed my renewal. Also marked me down as having alcohol abuse as I had on my records that 25 years ago I drank 24 units per week ( approx 8 pints). Chief Medical Officers guidelines in them days was 21 units, it's now 14.
The Dr who runs shootcert is apparently a shooter himself, so hopefully will be more realistic with their report. Your thieving gits of a GP surgery will still have to provide records to Shootcert, but they won't get paid for it.
