That’s the look of the beginning of generational hate. Lenin only thought in terms of his own power and personal gains, economic or otherwise and failed to see that the “justifiable” means he used to reach his end would doom his society across generations.
Lenin only thought in terms of his own power and personal gains
That's a massive overstatement. I'm not a fan of Lenin, but to argue that his actions were motivated entirely by personal ambition and not at all by his ideological socialist beliefs is hilariously stupid.
Also "I've got a woman" my Ray Charles sampled by Kanye West. Oh and "I've got a woman" itself borrowed it's tune from "it must be Jesus" - The Southern Tones.
Lenin only cared about Europe, and the century between 1815 (Waterloo) and 1914 (WWI) really was relatively quiet by European standards. The Crimean and Franco-Prussian Wars, and the Revolutions of 1848, are the only exceptions I can think of, and none of them were widespread or lasted very long. Compared to the nearly nonstop centuries of war before 1815, things really were pretty quiet in Europe.
"Better to be a dog in times of tranquility than a human in times of chaos." - This is the Chinese proverb that was transformed by the West into "May you live in interesting times" curse.

There are decades when nothing happens, and then there are weeks when decades happen
