How was Vaughn a re-adjustment teacher?

Vaughn is telekinetic, that has nothing to do with the mind. How could he be an effective re-adjustment teacher? The best he could do is just beat the shit out of the student (which Keon also did, but he had his mental powers to add insult to injury).

Keon's mental power is clearly ridiculously rare. To the point where he seems to be the only guy in the entire country or at least multi-district area with it.

Vaughn's power was likely chosen cause it renders people completely powerless. Its not like he's just punching or pushing you. He's rendering you completely immobile while he breaks your limbs. Doesn't have the self-hating effect Keon inflicts but does put immense fear of the Authorities into his victims.

I think it’s probably because physical force is usually enough to “get through” to most late bloomers, and it’s likely that Keon handles only the most difficult cases, people who have to much will power to be broken the conventional way.

Telekinesis is power to move things with the mind, Vaughn mentioned mental force at somepoint or maybe Kassandra so he might have the power to interfere with a persons thoughts in someway.

He could have just done normal psychological torture, and just used his ability as a physical control. You don’t necessarily need a mental ability to screw with someone’s head, after all.

Vaughn is a 7.8 with at least 10 trick. And his ability is Telekinesis, we have not seen a ton of his ability. His ability may be so finely tuned that he can literally physically manipulate the sensation of nerves to a degree if he wants to, Sera herself only has 10 trick and she can suspend someone's senses in indefinite stasis, I wouldnt be surprised if Vaughn has some capabilities that can manipulate people's senses.

Im not saying Vaughn has any or all of these abilities but its entirely possible for an ability called Telekinesis with Trick at or higher than Sera's to POTENTIALLY MAYBE do things like Bloodbend, Telekinetically directly puppet a body, and even control the neural impulses of others.

I don't think it's crazy to believe that Vaughn could at his maximum directly jumpstart a neurological activity (Such as thinking about a specific memory), if he has another individual who can assist him (Ie if someone else can find the needle in the haystack of someone's brain it's potentially not all that difficult for him to grab it).

It could also be that Vaughn is just really good at the job even without an ability, and didnt need an ability to psychologically break people, secret services in real life have done this with no such thing, and we see from Keon that you need to have the right pushes and nudges and know what you're doig even with a very competent ability as we see with Blyke where Keon has to find the right moment to get at him with the right words to say.
