Discussion Why are there so many state troopers on US-2 heading towards St Ignace this morning?
Heading west and have passed 26 troopers so far between Brevort and Manistique. No lights or sirens, just cruisin

There were about 20 squads parked in Marquette at a hotel the past few days. Was an odd sight.

I was coming back to the LP on Sunday from pictured rocks and must have passed 30 of them heading Northwest and wondered the same thing!

The bridge is closed Monday morning for the Labor Day bridge walk. Maybe they're gearing up for that?

They were doing training this week in Marquette. Probably headed back to wherever their posts are.
