Travel Inquiry Things to do in Makinaw island in Septmeber

Bf and I are going to Mackinac island staying in a B&B in St ignace. We definitely want to explore Mackinac Island but wondering what restaurant we should visit? Stores you recommend? Activities? We’ll be staying at UP till the 8th so any other places we should check out?

If you're staying in St. Ignace and you want a really good hamburger, go to Clyde's on the interstate. That's my family's #1 must-visit place in St. Ignace.

When the weather is nice, we like to get Clyde's take-out, and then eat it at one of the picnic tables at the bridge park as we watch the Mackinac Bridge's evening lights turn on.

I would recommend the Antlers restaurant which is in Sault Ste. Marie, MI.

If I were there today, I would be seeking a warm shelter to ride out this weather. Keep that in mind because I don’t think the weather is going to be improving up here anytime soon!
