Visitor || Q&A Valencia - nightlife Ruzafa

Hi all

We will be visiting Valencia with a group of friends in our 30s.

We will be staying in a hotel in Ruzafa - which we understand to be a cool area.

We have the daytime activities locked down and it’s on me to create a program the night. We prefer to avoid very touristy places such as mya / umbracle / etc.

Would anybody have specific recommendations for hip bars in the Ruzafa area? We like to have some drinks, dance a bit and potentially mix a bit with locals.

When you’re with a group, it could help if there is something like a restaurant that turns into a club later at night or if there are a bunch of cool restaurants/bars close to each other - so that you don’t have to travel too much in between and lose the momentum of the night.

If you think we’d should be looking in another neighbourhood than Ruzafa - don’t hesitate to let me know :)

Any suggestions would be enormously appreciated! The more specific the better :)

In Russafa everything will be walkable and within a few blocks from each other max. Just walk around and find a place that tickles your fancy.

In the Ruzafa area there are several such as Flash, which is a pub with music starting in the afternoon, or Latex, Play, XL, Barberbirborbur, generally if you are already out having an aperitif some PRs deliver flyers with discounts on drinks and shots in some of these places
