This is one of my favorite comfort meals — lentils over rice with warm naan bread on the side. Nothing fancy, but made with love.

I had these amazing vegan quesa birria tacos at a place outside Sacramento. They were so good I went back a couple of days later to get them again. The restaurant worker Said they didn't make it from scratch but also didn't know what the product was but said it was soy and mushroom-based. Anybody recognize this? Or know what it might be? Thank you

Made this delicious vegan version of traditional shepherd's pie today with ingredients all from LIDL UK! Fresh soya mince, chopped mushrooms, garlic, onion and a beefless stew packet mix! Then mashed potato with oat milk and vegan spread. Topped with grated Mature plant based Cathedral city cheese and fresh breadcrumbs (makes the top crunchy in the oven) Served with steamed brocolli & carrot sticks! And lashings of Bisto vegan instant gravy! My non vegan son and his gf said it was absolutely delicious and scoffed it up! Great result!

I’ve been buying Cocoyo original yogurt for years now, but recently it’s been tasting extremely sour. Not sure if it’s the fermentation but it’s happened to me now the past 3-4 times. Is this normal? It doesn’t taste like I remember.

Is Amazon the overall cheapest? Do any US grocery stores carry these? $16 per pound seems like a LOT 😭

Trying to make a edible flower dish for my birthday party but never tried it I just know there probably zesty and some sweet and I know I order this besides the flowers from a store
Idea :Slightly random edible flowers from Whole Foods or another organic store turmeric rice mint lemon herb tahini carrots spinach strawberry’s does it sound okay to you? Also could I store it the fridge for one night like meal prep it?
Also what’s a good vegan sauce to add to it? That’s not vinaigrette ( I don’t like them usually) that’s possibly fruity?

Lately, I've been thinking about making my own vegan cheese, and here are the results. If you want to try making nut-free, vegan chees,e here's the recipe: https://full-of-spices.blogspot.com/2025/08/vegan-cheese-ball.html
Have you ever also made a homemade, vegan cheese, or do you prefer store-bought one?

I always enjoy my morning cup of coffee with creamer ... but lately the creamer has been disappointing me. What are your go-to creamer products?
For months, I've been using Silk Oat Creamer ... either the Oatmeal Cookie or the Caramel Creme. Then I saw someone raving about the Ripple Half & Half so I decided to try it. The Ripple separated so fast ... my coffee just had oily white blobs floating all over the top, and it was definitely not creamy! So then I went back to the Silk Oat Creamer ... and the same thing happened. Its acts and looks like creamer for about 1 minute and then the solids fall down to the bottom of the cut with the fat just floats around the top looking disgusting.
I need a creamer I can rely on. Help! (I'm not giving up and just drinking it black ... that would not be a pleasant way to begin my day.)
