Historical The yappiest flag I've ever seen: the Estonian Workers' Commune.
From Wikipedia:
The Estonian Workers' Commune was a government claiming the Bolshevik-occupied parts of Republic of Estonia as its territories during the Estonian War of Independence and the Russian Civil War. It was recognised as an independent state only by the Russian SFSR, on December 7th, 1918.

They were written by hand on a piece of red fabric with white paint, technically there's no font at all

Is there any reliable source for this flag? I get a feeling this flag, or banner, has been given more importance in online circles than it really had originally.

I dig it in a way. Horrible flag in most regards, but It would look cool in a room

As an Estonian, I find it funny how the flag of the Estonian Workers' Commune has only one line written on it that's actually in Estonian, and even it has a Russian translation.

Are some Communist nations immune to making good flags

You realise that this flag was made by taking a red cloth and writing on it irl? During a civil war?
It wasn't made by some latte drinking art student on reddit.

I didn't say it had to be perfect? They could've done a regular hammer and sickle and it would've been alright. Even the flag of the Russian SFSR didn't look that bad

Those flags were'nt "regular" at the time. Your speaking with a hundred years of hindsight at your back.
Working class and peasants in the Russian Empire was hardly litrerate. Hell, the idea of nationstates was under 50 years old at this point.
