Question Will system still boot?

Post image

I’m wondering if my 3g psv 1000 would still work normally if i physically remove the sim slot + the 3g card? I’m going to have to do another teardown soon so it’d be nice to have less to deal with.

I haven’t tested it myself but someone on YouTube said when you remove it you’ll get an error everytime you boot up the device. One of the modded applications will let you silence the notification though. I’m being very vague cause it was a bit ago but at least it’ll help you on the right path.

That's right, the sytem will work but you'll get an error every time you boot, the app's called Autoplugin 2, idk the name of the plugin anymore tho

Yes, this is in fact a step you do for the PSVSD mod if you're interested in that. And like someone else said you'll get a popup about the 3g but you can have that removed with a plugin

I don't but it probably mentions 3G in the name and it's in one of those autoplugin things somewhere
