What is the worst setlist Weezer has ever played?
What is the worst setlist they have performed? It can be a combination of bad songs or just an odd order.

🚨 Serious 🚨 Hurley has been removed from YouTube Music
I've searched up Weezer Hurley, no results, I check their album page, skips from Raditude to EWBAITE, where's Hurley gone?

Anyone remember Across The Weez forum (circa ‘06-‘07)?
Across the Weez was a tiny forum that splintered off of the Weezer.com message boards back when I was in high school. I have fond memories compiling rare live audio and SFTBH conspiracy theories with other fans from like Germany, Luxembourg, and Canada. Wondering if anyone from back then is still around!

📣Discussion 📣 Hurley Cover Band!!!
Hurley is often discussed as being one of Weezer’s worst albums, or an under appreciated masterpiece. Who’s to say what it really is. But to me, it’s one of their most interesting, and caps off a weird era for the band. But the distaste for the album from the band themselves has lead to very few live performances of the tracks. I want to start a Hurley cover band. Essentially the set would be playing the album in full, a track off the deluxe, and then a little medley of Weezer hits. With an hour set, or an abbreviated 30 minute set. I’ve performed live a couple of times and have helped an indie band tour before. I’m looking here to see if there is anyone else in the world (or at least the United States) who’d be interested in pursuing such a project.
I currently live in Ohio, moving to Los Angeles. But for a project like this I plan on traveling for it. It’s a lot of money and pre production on my end, and probably only funny and important to me. But that’s why I’m reaching out here. I can’t be the only one who wants to hear Hurley live.
I’ve linked a Google Form to fill out, please share to anyone who may be interested. I would be doing vocals and keys.

If you’re wondering on Letterman
Has it been scrubbed from the internet? I can’t find it. Any help?

My friend is trying to crowdfund for a bronze statue of Al Molinaro(from “Happy Days” & the “Buddy Holly” video).
Al Molinaro was a great guy from Kenosha, Wi. Also Kenosha was one of the last stops for Buddy Holly before he passed away in a plane crash. The last several years Kenosha really went through it with the whole (POS)Kyle Rittenhouse drama, and we really would prefer to be remembered for nice guys like Al Molinaro, than the POS above. If anyone has an extra $5, I think we could really help Craig’s dream happen. It’s been a lot harder getting donations then he thought it would be sadly. https://www.gofundme.com/f/immortalizing-kenosha-legend-al-molinaro
🚨 Serious 🚨 Van Weezer Digital
I cannot seem to find any sort of digital download online for Van Weezer. I’ve searched EVERYWHERE for FLAC files or even just MP3. Streaming services suppress everything. I like my music ripped, LOL.

I made a album 20/sftbh track list
I basically tried to make a sftbh track list without using Pinkerton tracks (deluxe tracks don’t count)
- blast off
- You won’t get with me tonight
- Oh jonas
- Come to my pod
- The glue people
- Oh no this is not for me
- Forget yesterday
- Superfriend
- Bam bam hot damn
- She’s had a girl
- Dude we’re finally landing
- Who’s to say
- Outta the shadows
- Bitter moon
- Nobody’s business
- I just threw out the love of my dreams
- Cosmic unity
- What is this I find
- Deja Vu
- Long-time sunshine

was one of the reasons Maladroit didn’t succeed simply because of its album cover and title?
I’ve been thinking about why Maladroit never really popular compared to other Weezer records. Sure, people bring up the usual reasons, but one thing I don’t see mentioned much is the album’s cover and title. Weezer had a run of albums with recognizable looks—the Blue Album, Pinkerton, and the Green Album.
But then comes Maladroit. A word nobody uses, slapped on a cover that looks… not awful, but not exactly eye-catching either. It reminds me of Death to False Metal—not because the songs are the same, but because both albums lack a strong identity. They feel like oddballs in the catalog, never getting that iconic branding that helps keep an album alive in people’s memories.

Been 2 years since I've done a tierlist. This is my ranking now vs my first tierlist in 2019
The new one didn't have DTFM - i would probably put that below EWBAITE, above Make Believe.
Pinkerton - an obvious pick, this album, almost 30 years later, still holds up and is friggin epic swag
White - an obvious pick, this album, 10 years later, still holds up and is friggin epic swag
Black - this is the one that people will hang me for. Yes, black is fucking amazing. I love this album, the silliness, the sound, the grooves, i love this album so much.
PD - I will stand by that PD is a top 5 weezer album. Sorry loser, get a better music taste???
OK Human - This album is beautiful, and i remember listening to this at least 40 times in the first week. I still love going back to this album and being like "hahahaha thats outdated!"
Maladroit - the grit, the riffs, the lyrics, the sound, i love this wall of sound type album, it truly feels like the perfect mix of weezer and big riffs
Autumn - fun dance album, with fun lyrics, and super fun sounds, and amazing harmonies too
Winter - a good return to form album, while adding in some darker themes, and i love it. Good album for year round on some of these songs
Blue - ruh rohhh raggy, i didn't put this in the top 5??? what, am i fucking stupid???? Yes - but, i just feel like I'd muuchhhh rather listen to any of the other 8 albums than listen to blue for the 10000th time. My Name is Jonas is still easily their best song to date, and this album is still pure gold, but Maladroit go brrrrrrr
Red - silly, goofy, has it's duds. Dreamin, thought i knew, and cold dark world are just songs i don't really care for a whole lot tbh. The deluxe saves this album slightly, but I Can Love is another one i just.... don't really care much for tbh
Hurley - silly shit fr. Oh my god i love showing my friends Wheres my Sex and then with the most serious tone being like "yea this is actually about socks, rivers is just a 4 year old". This album rocks, but most of the songs are mid lol. Deluxe is nothing to write home about, with it's inclusion of a kids song, a cover, an alt mix of a single, and a really good demo.
Spring - this and Hurley are honestly tied. Spring has some beautiful sounds, and i loooove sound of drums, wild at heart, and opening night. I really wish across the meadow made it to the main tracklist, because that song is beautiful, and easily steals the spotlight from the rest of the tracks. but, i'm only going off base 7 tracks
Van Weezer - lazy written album imo, but has some good sounds. 1 more hit is a banger, blue dream is good (idc what you say), i like sheila can do it, and precious metal girl. good stuff fr fr. I've Thrown it All Away is a beautiful secret track, love the work on that one. Tell me what you want has a great sound, but, makes sense as a stand alone single for this era.
Summer - yeaaaa, idk, Lawn Chair, Blue like Jazz, and Thank you and goodnight are the only decent songs on this album. Its production is quite not good lol
EWBAITE - this is probably hopefully the last one that people will shoot my brains out over. yea, i don't care much for this album. it's just flat, it's not memorable for me. Ain't got nobody, eulogy, go away, da vinci, cleopatra, are all just songs i don't really go out of my way to listen to. but i love pretty much the other tracks, but half this album is just kinda... eh, whatever
Make Believe- we are all on drugs is subjectively the worst song i've ever heard weezer make. like, wow, this song is cringe bad icky gross like what the fuck were they thinking, most the other songs are fine, damage in your heart is probably the only other one i'd say is like.... eh, it's definitely one of the other songs on this album!
Raditude - an obvious pick, this album, 16 years later, doesn't hold up, and is not friggin epic swag
Teal - this is a covers album.... a lazily put together covers album.... stand by me, no scrubs, mr blue sky are fun
Green - yea, so, this album sucks. You already know the talking points, so i won't hit those. But, something i said years ago sums this album up: "I love every song on this album, but as an album, this collection of songs suck. It's like enjoying chocolate, and also enjoying BBQ sauce, but no one combines these, and this is where they went wrong here." - Had this album been more original, i think this would've landed right up by blue. hell, had these songs come out over the years on different albums as they sound on green, i think these songs would be fan favs. Just poorly executed album really.
My original ranking was from 2019 (2nd pic obviously) - it's basic, i was new to the band, so, yea.
also join the discord, it's fun there. you can talk to other virgins. theyre all stinky tho, especially Fynnie

Songs that sound like Weezer?
I was listening to The Nerve by The Brobecks (great song btw, huge blue album vibes) and have been doing my best to find some songs that have a similar vibe to Blue and Pinkerton.

I’ve been a concert photographer for a few years and to finally photograph my favourite band feels like a huge accomplishment and was one of the best experiences I’ve had doing this.
