News What made you chose weightlifting
For me it was because powerliftering got very boring cuz there's really no excitement or real danger lol. I watched a bunch of Chinese weightlifting videos and got hooked!

Powerlifting was too heavy and hard and I wanted to do something easier with light weight and the movements looked cool. Also saw 14yo Neisi Dajomes at the Arnold and thought I should be able to lift more than her (spoiler: 11y later she still out lifts me). Oh boy, I was a bit wrong in terms of difficulty but competitions are addictive and pretty high on pleasure scale (maybe cocaine is better but haven’t tried).
