Solved! What are these things under the sink in my bathroom and kitchen. Plastic piece with a button.
Pressing the button does nothing. Lived in this rental for almost four years and the property management has no idea either.

Open Yarn sewn through plastic grids to make a shape. Has a hole at the bottom and has a hatch at the top
I assume it is to hold something, but what I am not sure. It would have to be one heck of a tissue box. Plastic bags perhaps? It is approximately seven inches wide, thirteen inches tall and four inches thick.
I saw things like these more prevalently a few decades ago, but only recently came upon one and made me nostalgic, but I am not sure it's true purpose. I think they came in different shapes, sizes and designs, like automobiles or other buildings.
It looks like it can be hung from a wall. The construction is nice, but could not withstand too much weight, as far as I am aware of. Anyone know what it is? Thank you.

Solved! Big cement looking rectangle, Ontario highway, back of transport
Just wondering what this is! It looks old? And heavy? I’ve never seen anything like it before- and it’s the same size and shape as a regular transport container.

Solved ! What is this thing that popped my tire? It looks like a metal top, about 1.5” in diameter.
This bad boy just gave my tire a good sized hole. It’s definitely metal, and is magnetic. I’d say its diameter is about an inch and half.

Solved! Metal object dug up in my front yard. Non-magnetic (brass alloy of sorts). Stamped "N E W". I live ~500yards from old railroad tracks and down the street from what used to be a fuel terminal in Austin, Tx.
One of my theories was that this was some sort of gear pawl on the jacks that sometimes sit between two railcars (i found a picture of a similar device online), but that doesn't really explain the need for it to be a non-ferrous component. Chat-gpt suggested a railcar brake component and it also suggested a piece of oilfield equipment which somewhat fits considering the old fuel depot (a tank farm with a literal gasoline transmission pipeline running to it) at the end of my street. Any leads on the N E W stamping would be a good place to start...also the back is flattened and slightly curved up on either end, like it was meant to be bolted to something flat. If it was a gear pawl, it doesn't seem like it was used as the part that would rub the gear shows zero wear.

Open Metal copper/brass can with bent pipe and adjustable grate
Found sitting in a tree in the woods in Maine (not attached). This section of pipe is about 2 ft. There is an adjustable knob on the side which moves an inner piece up and down slightly. There is a wheel on the side that looks like it goes to a gear on the side of the can. Google Lens says it's a carbide lamp but I haven't seen any attached to a pipe. There is 62-37 embossed in the side and the direction suggests that the can goes above the pipe

Two large (presumably metal) tanks being hauled by a truck. My guess is they're smokers, but I couldn't find a picture of one online that matched the shape.

Open What is this thing? Small metal/brass object found in dryer
Hi everyone. Just unloaded our dryer after doing some laundry and found this thing. Pictures from all sides included and one with thumb for size reference. No apparent writing anywhere. There is some sort of coiled very fine wiring/line in the section that sits between the middle piece and the sides. Partner doesn’t remember anything in his pockets that it could have come from. Just wanna make sure it’s not a dryer part that’s broken or something else broken unknowingly in the house! Thanks!

Solved! Found amongst assorted things. What appears to be a gold or bronze colored material in the tube, numbers on inner ring.
It had a bit of a nautical vibe maybe? Some type of receiver possibly on either side, not threaded. Any ideas?
