[SPOILERS] I still cry Spoiler

I still cry to this day at the ending of the show I know neal doesn't die but I think it is the pain that is shown in both Peter and mozzies face and the cry at the end from Peter before it shows neal in france just tears me apart it's my favourite show I've watched it 15 times almost and about to start again

[SPOILERS] Thoughts on Rebecca?

I just started season 6, and while I'm happy in some ways that Neal is no longer being manipulated by her, I'm also annoyed at how her character arc ended.

In my opinion, I don't think her character would've actually shown any remorse for what she did, and it was surprising to see her do so in the initial season 6 episode.

I also don't really understand why she needed to be killed off, but maybe that's something I'll learn in this season.

Just wanted to see what everyone else thinks about her final appearance and how it was written?

The pilot part 2…on Hulu

So I’ve watched this show through 4 times (it’s been a few years) and my wife and I just started it again….i have never seen some of these scenes from part 2 of the pilot?? Is this the extended version of what was on Netflix? I’m very confused…or did I just forget ?

[SPOILERS] Rewatching and thinking Spoiler

Currently watching season season 5 and wondering if anyone had any thoughts about Rebecca being who she really was because I remember watching it for the first time and being super shocked 😂🫣

First time watching, getting somewhat annoyed in the beginning of season 3.

I know Neal is a conman, but I just don’t like how he’s hiding this from Peter and everyone else. It just feels like he’s going back to his old ways, and I don’t like the two main storylines going against each other. Am I alone in this? I really thought Neal was happy with his new life and with these people. Watching Peter and Neal work directly against each other and Neal trying to sabotage them really feels bad. How will they ever trust him if he keeps doing all this?

I think this vid summarises the show perfectly 😭😭😭😭 it's so good, it captures all the great moments... Also, the "you're the only people in my life I trust" is my favourite WC moment.

[SPOILERS] Finished my rewatch... I'm crying sm

So, I first watched years ago and decided to do a casual rewatch but boy, I got so invested!!!! Finished the whole thing in a month of binge-watching.

I did not remember being SO touch by this show the first time I saw it... Now I think it's one of my favs lol.

Anyway, here's what I wanted to discuss about the ending: when did Mozzie know about the death faking plan? When I first watched I thought he figured out later because of the card 8likenhe explained to Peter. But could it be that he knew from the begging??? It never occured to me because the hospital scene is so real!

Edit: I was in a hurry when I posted so I'm adding this afterwards:

I love that Neal left clues for them to eventually figure it out. He knew Peter would get his personal effects after his death and that's why he kept the 701 key and left everything in the container for him to find, and he left Mozzie the lady card. "Watch the lady for me". He was the lady, thought to be dead, but somewhere else entirely.

Also, when Peter didn't figure it out, he sent the wine bottle as an extra clue, because obviously he didn't want Peter (his best friend!) to mourn him forever. I also imagine Neal a bit disappointed Peter didn't figure out in a whole year lol!

Though I kinda dislike the ending, still leaves hope for them 3 to be happy ever after. I imagine the second Peter got out of the container he booked a flight to Paris lmao. Also, I wanted him to tell the rest of his friends and June... :( I HOPE they all got to know the truth...

The chemistry between ALL the cast is amazing. I love every interaction. Peter-Mozzie is an underrated epic combo, I think. And obviously the Peter-Neal combo is one of the best partnerships in history television. And all the others as well, they're all great!!!

So, in conclusion, I'm crying sm. I wanted them to keep working together forever. The dynamic in the white collar division + associates was GOLDEN. Greatest team ever.

S3E3- Saved My Pugs from Diabetes

This quote from Barelli- “I got this vet in Yonkers. He saved my pugs from diabetes. Want to take a ride, go see him?” - is, first of all, absolute gold.

Second, there’s a van constantly outside of my apartment complex (very, very far away from Yonkers) that is wrapped as a mobile dog groomer, and the address on the door says it’s based in Yonkers. Now here’s where things get silly. I actually feel like this van is a front irl. It’s there all day, and only goes out very occasionally at night, at times when people would definitely not be getting their dog groomed. The van sometimes is running in the parking lot, but people don’t bring dogs to the van. I see it most of the time, since I work from home.

So IDK what your conclusions would be, but to me this is Barelli’s vet, a hardened mafia guy with a soft spot for pugs. Just wanted someone to know what lives rent free in my head 🤣 What on earth could be happening in the back of that van 🤣

I'm working on collecting all pieces of the music box melody/theme. I've pirated the entire series to get the highest definition possible and I'm watching every episode so I don't miss a thing.

[SPOILERS] Funny thing when showing a friend WC for the first time Spoiler

We just got to Hard Sell, where Peter and Neal learn that Fowler wants the music box. After the episode, I asked my friend what he thought was in the box, and I said, "Remember, it was stolen by Nazi's in WWII, so it could be anything."

To which my friend said, "Like a boat. Maybe they shrunk down u-boat with Hitler's shrink ray." I died laughing.

And, like, he has no idea how close he actually is to being right.

What’s the best way to handle Willie’s death, Mozzie not being recast?

I think they should play it that Mozzie’s spy parents finally were able to come back for him and now they’re all in hiding together. They could even have pigeons arrive with thoughts and ideas from him. Maybe he introduces Neal to someone else to help him out since he’s in hiding.

Do you think Neal should rob the robbers and give the belongings to the owners in the reboot? He's doing what he loves in a positive way. Scott in season 3 was doing that but he was robbing the rich and donating it

Alex's Grandfather?

I'm rewatching the show for the first time in 6+ years, and I just finished S2.

Was Alex's grandfather a Nazi? We learn that he was German, he knew about the U-boat treasure, and he fled Germany after the war. It wasn't ever stated directly if he was or wasn't a Nazi. But are we supposed to understand that he was one? The storyline only makes sense if he was one, because how else would he know about the treasure? But it feels strange that the whole storyline was built around a Nazi trying to essentially steal back something they already stole from other countries. Am I overthinking this?

Keller + Caffrey

Watching s6 and Keller keeps referring to how he and Neal worked together all the time in the past. I'd LOVE to see some of their heists/cons/exploits from back then. Hey, Renaissance writers, you following this sub? <3

It's hard for me at work when I have a client named Kate. I'm a professional massage therapist and every time I have a client with that name and I go to pick her up, i dont want to just casually ask for her. I want to run into our waiting area and just scream "Kate! Kate!" 🤣

holy crap, my jaw dropped when i saw keller! inoticed that neal glanced to his right when he shook hands with keller when they agrred to work together as keller was saying, "attaboy". glancing to the right is widely regarded as a body language tell for a lie. thought it was a great little piece of business on the director or matt bomer's part!

Rebecca

i went back and looked at a bunch of posts re: Rebecca/Rachel, but never saw one that addressed my main question:

why on earth did Neal even tell her ANYTHING to begin with? he was never that open , imo, with Sara , Kate, OR Alex. Why does he all of a sudden feel completely comfortable telling her all the details of his and Mozzie's plans/movements/history?

It just never sat right with me, and was, frankly, unbelievable from his character.
