Battle An unarmed Captain America (MCU) replaces Robb Stark at the Red Wedding - can he fight his way out?

Cap doesn't have his shield or suit, and he doesn't know that the betrayal is coming. The Freys are not aware of his upgraded abilities.

Can Cap fight his way out? Bonus points if he can keep Catelyn and Robb's wife safe. Double bonus points if he can kill Walder Frey and Roose Bolton.

Honestly I wouldn't be surprised if a standard arrow literally just bounces off of him

Or if he has the superhuman reflexes to catch them and dodge them.

Subway scene in Infinity War tells me that he probably can

*train station

It was an overground line.

A normal person can train to catch an arrow. Only in a very controlled setting and it's crazy dangerous, but monks and the like have been doing it forever. If a normal man can do it, Cap can do it way, way better.

While I agree with you that monks catching arrows is probably just a DnD thing this regular australian guy can catch arrows. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X5-kR8ttz-k&ab_channel=InTrouble

Yeah, I could buy at a very low draw weight someone can semi-consistently catch an arrow. But a high draw-weight war bow, or a crossbow? No way that's getting caught by a normal person, I doubt they'd even be able to exert enough force with their hands even if they could get the timing right. At best they could have the arrow sticking through their arm instead of their body.

As for captain america though? Sure why not

At which point every single person in the room drops their swords and/or flees.

And if they don't flee at that point they're certainly going to flee when he flips an entire table across the length of the room, sending multiple people flying.

Cap might not be able to stop the massacre outside, but the Red Wedding itself is not happening and the Freys are fucked.

When the keep emtpies out soldiers screaming in terror, and then out comes Cap swinging a whole entire oak dining table as if it were a tennis racket most of the people outside are gonna run too.

And Cap doesn't have a no kill rule, he's 100% just passing out concussions lmao it would be a bloodbath

That arrow came off of a 100lbs war bow, not a hunting bow

Modern compound hunting bows are much more efficient than any traditional bow, giving much higher velocity with lower draw weights. They are better at transferring the energy to the arrow, and less is absorbed by the limbs as vibration.

It wouldn't though

They’d need some two rivers bowmen.

he survive modern soldier and aliens enemy countless of times, they have WAY stronger weapons than a medieval bow and arrows, even without his shield(which I doubt would be long, he probably just take one of the soldier's shield), he tanked a freaking punch from Thanos with the power stone. it's not "wankitude" , captain America is very durable.

by not getting shot by them.

Modern bullets and aliens' laser weapons are WAY faster than a crossbow's bolt. A quick ChatGPT gives me 900 m/s speed for a standard assault rifle compared to a medieval crossbow's 50-70 m/s speed. That's almost 20 times, and Captain America manages not to get shot by them. Even if you factor in the shields, it's still ridiculous that he manages to dodge all that.

Not to mention, modern weapons can shoot continuously while a crossbow needs some time to reload. That's why I mention WW2 and alien enemy during Infinity War, the rate of fire that he needs to dodge or block is probably 100x more than what he had to do during the Red Wedding.

But let's say he survives all that thanks to his shield, Cap is also a very fast thinker, thanks to his serum. He can just lift the nearby table to use as a shield or use his enemy's body as a shield if he needs to or he can just jump to the elevated position and beat them one by one. cap is a season fighter, he know which one to take down first

no evidence of him ever actually doing that.

The evidence is that he is alive. Captain America is always front line during WW2. He always charged in when he was in the Avenger and doing missions for the Shield. for god sake, watch Endgame where he was front line. How does he survive all this without dodging bullets or lasers? Even with a shield, the rate of fire is 100x more than what a bunch of people with medieval crossbows can produce.

There’s not much reason to discuss anything after that.

There is, you claim that he won't survive if they use a crossbow, but we have countless events that show Cap survive way faster and stronger projectile attacks.

The prompt says no shield, but hed grab a shield asap and then it's all cap. No crazy bouncing but hed just use it as an actual shield
