This fight was fucking amazing.

They even had a minecart sections, I.E. the best levels in the DKC series.

As the guy who made the DK RT, this episoe was pretty accurate.

Also, THANK YOU BEN SINGER FOR FINALLY BEING SOMEONE TO MAKE SOME CALCS FOR THE MOON PUNCHING FEAT.

EXACTLY THE SAME LEVEL DESIGN AS MICECART MAYHEM 2-2 OF DKC

As someone who is playing through the original DKC fuck minecart levels. Fuck everything about them. Fuck the stupid cart and the stupid drops and the stupid tracks. Fuck every part of them. I want to find the designers of these levels and put them through some saw level torture shit so they can feel my pain

I feel your pain, but I respectfully disagree. I love them for the simplicity and timing based challenge that they present that I feel greatly characterizes rhe whole of why I love the DKC series so much. The cart levels in Returns are especially fantastic. I've played Bombs Away and Prehistoric Path mutiple time because I loved those levels so much.

I mean I love the game it was one of the first games I ever played and I'm still trying to beat it but goddamn I rage at these games
