Boy oh boy. Well, before I watched, I called it for Terry. Nothing against Ken, but one thing they got right about Terry is the level of competition he's gone up against. However, I'm always uneasy whenever Death Battle pulls feats from non-canon movies, from either side. Not to mention, the canon of the Fatal Fury/Garou series is completely different than King of Fighters, meaning different movesets, but luckily they didn't delve too far into that (even if they did put SF vs KOF in the title).
Anyway, onto the matchup.
Round 1: Terry's first appearance was Garou Densetsu/Fatal Fury. In this one, I'd have to give it to Ken, but only slightly. Game mechanics aside (Geese was a MUCH harder final boss than M. Bison/Vega), Terry's win over Geese wasn't because he straight up beat him, but because he knocked him out of the window on the top floor of Geese Tower, where he fell to his death (lol). Ken was seen as nearly equal to Ryu, and Ryu
defeated Bisonwon the World Warrior tournament. Feats wise, Bison was the more powerful boss. Kind of roundabout logic, I know. Also, Ken's Shoryuken alone seems to be more powerful than Terry's Burn Knuckle or Crack Shot, and his Tatsumaki Senpuukyaku would go right over the Power Wave.Round 2: I'll assume you mean Third Strike Ken. As for which Terry is considered the strongest, that depends on your interpretation of "strongest." He's at his oldest and most experienced in Mark of the Wolves, which I think would be a closer match, but some of the stuff he can pull off in King of Fighters 13 and 14 is ridiculous. Terry absolutely dominates Ken here. Ken's damage output just isn't up to snuff.
