Special The Great Debate Season 3 Round 3
Rules
Battle Rules
Speed equalized to Mach 20, both reaction and travel speed; Projectiles retain original speed
Battleground: The City of Atlantis. Situated 5000 meters below sea level, the city is 5 miles wide and enclosed in a magical bubble dome. The bubble that encloses the city enables a direct view to the sea, and can be permeated by any participants in the tourney as well as projectiles; any attempts to break the bubble result in the attack going right through it, with no damage done to the bubble whatsoever. Combatants may return to the battlefield if they are capable.
Your characters have basic knowledge of what their teammates are like and what they do, and will not deliberately harm them. Other than that, your characters are in-character. So if you have a hero and a villain on the same team, they may not be as willing to work together for team battles as two heroes would. So be sure to try and justify that in your team rounds.
Debate Rules
Rounds will last 4 days, no time limit, however each user MUST get in two responses or else be disqualified. If one user waits until the very last minute to force this rule to DQ their opponent without any forewarning to their opponents or the tournament supervisors, they will be removed from this tournament, no exceptions. If you must be late or delayed in your responses, contact Tourney organizers and your opponent to work on potential extensions.
Format for each round: both respondents get Team Introduction + 1st Response, then 2nd response, then a 3rd response and closing statement individual of one another that can be posted any time after both 3rd responses are complete. EACH RESPONSE MUST BE NO LONGER THAN ONE 10,000 CHARACTER REDDIT COMMENT LONG.
Rounds will either be a full 3v3 Team Match, or 1v1 single matches. 1v1 matches are determined by submission order (I.E. Your first submission vs. their first submission, and so on). Match format will switch every round, with Team Matches always followed by single matches, and vice versa. First Round will be determined by coin flip.

Naruto vs. Teng Qingshan
Those would do a lot of damage to Naruto if they hit. How fast can he throw them, and how quickly can he throw them (rate of fire)? Considering that Naruto has enhanced senses from sage mode, and that thrown knives are one of the most common methods of attack in the Naruto verse, the only way that these are going to hit is if they're too fast to dodge, or if they're used in a sneak attack in close quarters.
The rasengan is enough to easily tear through metal, even when a genin uses it. This sort of durability is good, but Naruto can hit him with two at once, so he should be able to do plenty of damage.
Are you thinking of the rasenshuriken? The rasengan is as fast as Naruto is, he holds it in his hand.
The chargeup time is barely a problem. Here, Naruto throws a huge rhino, creates a couple of shadow clones, then prepares 2 rasengan, hits the huge beasts, and you can see they're not very far behind said rhino. Popping the shadow clones is more likely to happen, and considering the number that Naruto can make, I don't think Teng is going to be able to pop them all before Naruto has a few rasengan prepared.
That's fair, however, is his equipment just as durable? Even if Teng himself can easily survive a rasenshuriken, that doesn't mean his weapons will. Consider that the rasenshuriken carves huge holes in the earth, cleaves through large rock formations, and is stronger than the rasengan, which destroyed metal, it's a distinct possibility that Teng's weapons are destroyed if he's caught in one. And, since you brought up the problem of dodging the rasenshuriken, how would Teng react if Naruto tried this move, attempting to pin him with shadow clones to force him to get hit?
While they will die in one hit, they are also far more of a threat to Teng than those soldiers seem to be. Keep in mind that shadow clones are roughly as strong as Naruto himself is, and in sage mode he's capable of lifting huge stone statues, and throwing building sized rhinos through the air. A few of these getting past Teng's defences would be enough to, at least, throw him off balance.
Rukia Kuchiki vs. Iron Man
That heating apparatus seems to rely on an external dial in order to work it, and that won't help him escape if his arms are caught in the ice. However, it does show that ice alone probably would not be enough to finish him off.
That would be enough to melt anything that he can hit with the spotlight, however that only works against things directly in front of him. If Iron Man is encased in ice, as Rukia is capable of doing, then he will take some time to escape. And I think it's likely that he'll be caught by the ice. Rukia's first ice attack is capable of freezing everything in the sky above it's area of effect, so Iron Man's easily capable of being caught by this. After that, considering that his eyes don't seem to be protected, it would be easy to stab him through one of those eye slits.
This is a far better feat than
This. The second feat seems to be far more about electrical damage than fire damage, making no mention of heat whatsoever, although with the first feat, it's safe to say the heat itself won't be doing much damage to him.
While Rukia would likely be able to block any physical attack that Iron Man throws, the other two would do damage. However, it's likely that she will be able to encase Iron Man in ice, or bind him with kido, before he can hit her. Her kido binding works at range, and the resistance to ice only shows that she won't kill him immediately by freezing him, not that she can't then execute him with her sword once he's immobile.
Itachi Uchiha vs. Raiden
I disagree, the huge fireball is the only one that falls under the "easy to dodge" label, and that's only if he uses it in an upfront manner. The second is Itachi attacking Kakashi with 3 swirling spears of water, from behind no less. If Raiden gets in range of the water dome, and turns his back, then he's going to be hit by this, although I don't know how useful it's going to be in the middle of the city. The third is possibly the hardest to dodge, and the most deadly. It's an exploding shadow clone, if Raiden approaches this and is caught in it's radius, then it's going to do a lot of damage. Combine that with the fact that his main body will be elsewhere, likely preparing another jutsu, then this would be extremely useful.
You underestimate how good Itachi will be at keeping distance. His sharingan gives him a form of combat precognition, making it easier for Itachi to escape if Raiden catches him in melee. Combine that with techniques like his exploding shadow clone and the substitution technique, and I think 7-8/10 is a sensible estimate.
This is a feat only for his main body. His face still looks like it's human, so what sort of defences does it have? Itachi can throw shuriken and kunai incredibly accurately to disable weak spots all at once, and a far weaker ninja was capable of piercing concrete with shuriken. While Raiden's main body should be able to just ignore the thrown weapons, if it attacks locations like his eyes or elsewhere, then it should be capable of doing damage.
