I was missing windows phone & my teenage years. Tried a launcher for the first time

The new setup is nice, I can put productivity apps to the left and rest to the right, better for organization

Launcher 10 + Arcticons icon pack.

Setting up the home screen for the first time feels like I am decorating my house... So satisfying. I can't explain how happy I am feeling, windows phone was my first phone, it was one of the first things my father gifted me. Sweet memories. I am very salty about Satya Nadella killing the whole thing.

and yeah Microsoft could have switched to android with their own custom launcher keeping the windows phone aesthetic. all android phone makers usually make their own launcher.

So true. They did make a launcher but it was a dud copy of other android launchers.

After Satya Nadella, Microsoft has stopped focusing on the consumer market, they just don't care. I hope Steam OS takes their desktop and gaming market share.

Their strategy is messed up, given how they are handling the arm transition and focus on products like recall, I have no idea what kind of shrooms they are on.

Nokia X platform was an attempt at that, it had potential but hardware was lackluster & UI was half baked.

After trying Launcher 10 and Square Home on my Android, I settled on the latter. Even has live tiles for $7.

FYI, Android no longer calls it a launcher. It is now a "home app." Fucking MBA's trying to make their chops.

Yeah! They were so smooth, even on low end hardware. Even today, mid range android phones are not that smooth.

Got it from the play store. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.donnnno.arcticons They have made it very intuitive

That doesn't work for Launcher 10 for some reason, I'm using with Square home.

This subreddit is is not about launchers. They just waste space which can be filled with some meaningful content. This belongs to r/wplaunchers

The type of the minimal and dark white aesthetic is really my cup of tea, nice theme bro
