Is that single wall pipe upside down? It also requires 3 screws at each joint. And what’s the distance from pipe to combustible wall behind that shield?? What are you using for chimney outside?? Guessing if you don’t know what a flue is, you may not know the difference between connector pipe and chimney?

It’s a guide gear tent stove. The piping for some reason was made to be put upside down, but I’ll try to flip it. It’s 6 inches from the wall. Outside I have a double wall 3 inch pipe connected to the single wall original flue pipe

There is no such thing as 3 inch Class A chimney, and that is the only type factory built chimney that can penetrate walls, ceiling or roof.
Appliances are UL Listed for use. Factory built chimney becomes a UL Listed Assembly when installed as tested and shown in manufacturer instructions only. UL Listing examples are Residential, commercial, recreational vehicle or marine. This is not designed for residential structure use.

Oh. Gotcha. This tent stove is not advised for indoor use. However, I have it in a shed and I use it a couple months out of the year. I have the 3 inch flue running through a 6 inch double wall and then a wall thimble going out through the roof. I know this isn’t up to code

This system is low grade garbage and if it catches your home on fire, it’s doing exactly what the moron who installed it designed it to do. Look up wood stove chimney pictures on any chimney manufacturer website and compare it to what you have there. Here’s an idea, never ever ever use this for burning anything!!!

Ex installer here.
Stop.
There is a lot of information online on how to safetly install a flue system for a woodburner i presume, please do some research if your going to do the installation yourself, the manufacturers will quite happily provide you with guidelines and advice, what we dont want to see or hear about is you dying in a fire or from carbon monoxide poisoning.

Pull it out and call a professional. Erase all pics of it so insurance doesn’t have evidence when the house burns down.
