Not Costco, but my first job in NZ was at a supermarket, where we got a whopping 1% discount that we were mandated to use to ensure we bought the food we were eating. And it required a supervisor to approve it every time.

At Publix, the best we’ll get is a half-sub every couple months. And we make less than the Costco employees.

To be fair, I do work at Costco, it's like a thousand times better than any other retail or fast food place I've ever worked at just because of the pay and benefits alone.
