Visiting Yerevan in August
Hi! I suddenly have a couple weeks off. Is visiting Yerevan doable in August? I know it gets very hot during the daytime, but if I say get up super early, are there things to do so that I can time my activities around 7am-noon and 6pm-10pm when it is cooler, and just chill in the hotel from after lunch till evening?
I'm mostly interested in food, culture, architecture, maybe sunrise/sunset photography of interesting parts of the city.

The city doesn't really wake up till 9-10am-ish. The heat of the day is mostly around 2-3pm and the evenings don't really cool off like they do where I'm from. But in the evenings the city center is alive and bustling till way past midnight. Depending on how sensitive you are to the heat the there are things you can do during the day like museums and then enjoy the evenings well into the night. Don't forget about side trips to dilijan or garni that are several degrees cooler than yerevan right now.
