Actually the whole dish (even its name) is about flipping it and even at homes people do it the same way but not to that extent that this guy attempted of course lol

Who the fuck sees "Just throw my food on the floor" and goes Yeah I'll have that

u/MyRealUser Jun 30 '25

I've never seen it flipped in the air like that. Usually they'll put the tray or large plate on top of the pot and then flip it over quickly while holding them together.

Right?!

Give me my food carefully wrapped in a sheet of paper or (better yet) in a protective cardboard box. Then, place it in a paper bag along with a stack of napkins for extra padding. Afterward, gently hand it to me through a small window so that I can place it in the seat next to me away from harm.

That "oh shit I'm fired" look on his face.

u/TernionDragon Jun 24 '25

Looks like a practice run. His look is priceless.

I’m too old to know, so I’ll ask. When people record normal day to day stuff like this, why so much rapid zooming in and out? Is this a thing? Is it for dramatic effect or something? Not judging.

23

u/ygrasdil Jun 25 '25

I’m judging

6

u/Groot8902 Jun 25 '25

I've always assumed a lot of the zooming was edited

3

u/Simple_Housing_9548 Jun 29 '25

i’m from a younger generation and while i cant definitively says why other people do it, i sometimes do a cheeky zoom in to someone’s face for comedic timing. or if someone just dropped something, i’ll zoom into the thing they dropped, and then pan back up to their face. sometimes it doesn’t add anything to the video, but at the right moment and not overused it can make the focus of the video funnier and more obvious. not saying it’s better than just recording normally.
